Well here it is. The best program for an iphone/ ipod Touch.
Frees you from your computer and lets you download songs over wifi and lets you play it rigth away on the device.

Iphone and wifi adhoc internet sharing
Did you know that its possible to share your Desktop computer's or Laptop's internet connection through an adhoc connection between the iphone and the computer!.
Pretty simple!
ON THE Computer:
1. In Network Connections control panel, right-click Local AREA Connection(the hardwired network) and select Properties.
2. Select Sharing tab, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection
3. In Network Connections control panel, double click on the wireless adapter,a window will come up. On the left side click on "change the order of preferred networks".
4. Click Add, give your wireless connection any name, security for this connection is OPEN and encryption is DISABLED.
5. Very important. Make sure to select "this is a computer to computer ad-hoc connection".
Once that is done, you might need to disbale and re enable your wireless card on the laptop.
ON THE IPHONE:
Once you enable wifi, the phone should pick up the connection name you created on the laptop. Select it to connect. It should get an IP address of 192.168.0.? and at this point you should be able to have full internet access on the phone.
let me know if this works. It should for about 75% of the people who try this. For others, they might have some kind if NIC in the computer that might not support this. There is another way around it.
